ABOUT ME

BIOGRAPHY

Leiona completed her studies on the BA(Hons) Stage Management and Technical Theatre Course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD), where she developed a strong passion for technical theatre, with a particular focus in sound design and all aspects of stage management.

As a recent graduate, she is enthusiastic about applying her expertise within the theatre industry. She considers herself a dedicated, skilled, and passionate professional, adaptable across various roles.

Leiona thrives on working with new writing, classic plays, and musicals. In her sound design work, she aims to deepen emotional impact by crafting immersive soundscapes that enhance storytelling beyond dialogue, complement other design elements, and elevate both the actors’ performances and the audience’s engagement and experience.
